I am looking for a good book to explain Storage Area Networks. Not really looking for an instructional reference, more of an overview of the technologies involved, how they interact with each other and so forth. Good background knowledge on how they are used and what benifits they offer type thing.

you could try those books for people that want to get their MCSE/A. most of the time though, they are just called data centers and are cheap to get into if you have enough machines.
