Go to start >> Run and type cmd. At the prompt type ipconfig. Write down the deafult gateway number (probably 192.168.1.1). Enter that number into your web browser url as http://192.168.1.1. This is your router admin area. There should be a security tab that you can see the type of security you are running. You will only be able to see how many digits are in your network key (ie *****) but that may jog your memory as to what you made it. If not, you can change it to something you can remember.

am guessing your wireless is done through either your router or a wireless access point ( either way you would have to use the ip address of the wireless device ie the router or the wireless access point ) in a web browser such as firefox or internet explorer and press enter - then login to the web interface and you should be able to find out what type of wireless security you have configured as well as the wireless password and any other relevant information.
