Hi beautyqueen26. When you need to get the word out about your site, there are plenty of free methods to choose from. I've only recently discovered the message boards and forums and have been having some success with the sites I discuss there. I have also had success with numerous free traffic exchanges, banner exchanges, and safelists. There has even been one flyer campaign that went quite well. I designed and printed the flyers myself so I was using supplies I already had and it only took a few hours to distribute them. I was quite impressed with my balance in the site I was promoting. After that, I reduced the flyer to business card size for anytime use. It's kept the ball rolling, lol.:)

Writing articles are my favorite method of promotion. Forums are also good but with the new web 2.0 system its getting even easier with social networks and tagging etc and also another big thing is video like youtube type sites. There's a lot of things you could do. Free search engine traffic is good if you can get a top ranking in Google.

Hi Beautyqueen, You've gotten some great advice already, and I thought I'd add a couple things that I do... First of all, obtaining a high Search Engine Rank will bring your site to the top of the results for your keywords and phrases, which will in turn generate tons of traffic. 1. Implement excellent SEO techniques. Here's a free course (pdf) written for the average person and exposing big techniques used by pros. SEO Made Easy 2" target="_blank">http://www.designinglife.... . Submit Articles (even the content on your site can be "recycled" into articles - just add a byline and let people put the article on their own site with byline including your url). I use Article Submitter Software. You can get the free version here: http://www.designinglife.... Of course the paid version gives you many more features and pre-programmed article submission sites also. You just enter your information once, enter your articles once, then submit them to numerous Article Directories with a few easy clicks. 3. Submit your site to Web Directories for tons of one way back links (the search engines love to see lots of one way links to your site, which in turn helps in achieving high ranking fast). I use Web Directory Submitter Software. Again there is a free version with a few limitations but it works like Article Submitter...enter your info once, then submit to tons of web directories with just a few clicks. http://www.designinglife....

I've been promoting online for awhile using paid and free methods of advertising, and my favorite is message boards and forums. What is your favorite way to promote that doesn't cost any money. I have some ads that I can use on some of my pter program. So that's how I promote everymonth. I also use a lot of Mylot. Talking about some of my program. Most of the referal I got are from here.

Actually I would submit my site and blogs to search engines. Then if someone wants to exchange links with me, I would, because that would help my ranking. Also, I would get enrolled in technorati or social bookmarking sites hopefully to get more exposure. And I would promote in Yahoo Answers (it doesn't cost anything). I average have around 100+ people come to my site, but I want more, and I will definitely try to find more ways to promote my site. I will share if I find some effective methods.

one way that ive used to promote my product or businesses is to recruite others by that i mean share the wealth give them a cut on your profit only after the sale or sign up people respond to money
