How do I remove an annoying trojan and root kit?

Postby adalberto19 » Fri Dec 11, 2009 9:15 am

Can someone help me? For the past 6 days I have been trying like mad to get rid of the following:
Trojan.Agent/Gen and Rootkit.Agent/Gen-FraudLoad-F
I have used Super Anti-spyware and it catches them both. It removes them, but after reboot they are both back again! I can't browse the web because it redirects me to advertising sites, etc. I am using my roommates computer now to post this. Can any of you computer geniuses help a girl out? I am using Windows XP SP3 with IE 8.0. Any help is appreciated :)

You don't have to reformat your hardrive or install new OS. Follow the guide below to remove Infection.

What should you do to remove rogue antispyware, Spyware, Trojans and malware:

Download, install, update and scan your computer system with Spyhunter and AVG. You have to delete everything that they will find. If this fails to completely remove the malware/spyware/Trojan Boot your pc in saffe mode and scan then. All the software below is safe to use.

Spyhunter: http://www.pcthreat.com/parasitebyid-7484en.html

AVG: http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-F...

If you want to protect your computer system in the future you need to use antivirus software and firewall. You should also start using Firefox 3 if you are browsing with IE because it is much safer.

try malwarebytes http://malwarebytes.org

boot your computer into safe mode by repeatedly hitting F8 when you start your computer to bring up the boot menu and select safe mode with networking. Open Malwarebytes and update it then run a full system scan and see if it fixes your problem.

Hi, download the fully functional free trial of the trojan remover from this link and it should be done.
When all else fails with a tough trojan this software does the job, and repairs damage also.
