Why is it the media never airs positive media on Muslims....al we hear is a negative after a negative after a negative.

For this reason, many people believe that Muslims dont condemn terrorism...which just adds to fuel to the Islamaphobia.

Why do ppl repeatedly say that Muslims dont condemn terrorism, when the reality is that do all the time?

The media failed to air the peace light vigils being held in the aftermath of 9/11 that were held in Muslim Countries!

The media failed to recognize that ICNA Relief USA (Islamic Circle of North America) was one of many that aided in disaster recovery after the attacks......who is located in NY!

The media failed to recognize Kuwait Red Crescent Society which donated 25 MILLION DOLLARS, which is the largest recorded single donation received by the American Red Cross.
- This same organization has collaborated with WHS (World Hepatitis Alliance) that raises awareness about Hepatitis B and C and raises money for people worldwide.

The list goes on and on....
What do u think are the reasons for this?

I don't see a lot of media coverage about charitable organizations unless they are taking in money and sending it to terrorist.
Perhaps the media should be looking into how much of the charities money actually goes to helping people and how much of the aid is being sent to terrorist..though I doubt the media has much access to these records.

Do you realize how many Christian charities there are and how much money they pour in world wide?
Have you seen any news splashes on the Christian charities?

If any of these charities contribute to terrorism you will have news...the fact that Christians are charitable is hardly a news flash.

News is something out of the ordinary..I guess this might be true of Islam but probably not American Muslims.

It may just be that most worl terrorist are Muslum. They just assmume that all muslims are evil without second thought.

The news is biased, they report based on what will sell commercial air time for the highest price. In the film "The Kingdom" there were positive Muslim and Arab characters. A really good movie I think.
