i sleep near my cell phone...how about u?

I do because I use it for my alarm clock. I'm also petrified that if I didn't have it near me would be the night that I would get that emergency call...

I use to keep in just below my pillow. While we all know its harmful to do so as the radiation effects our body and mind but most of us are used to this habbit and keep our mobile/ cell phones just near to us. This should be avoided

every night one thing i never forget to do is to keep my cellphone near me .i cannot sleep when my cell phone wasnt around me. i want to know how many of you do the same thing as i do.

I sleep with my cell phone because it is also my alarm clock - I started doing this over 5 years ago after the cats killed 3 alarm clocks in very short order, with the phone in bed with me, they haven't killed it.

No, I plug mine in and turn it off when I go to sleep. No reason to have phone calls waking me up. I live at home and my parents have a land line, so if anything insane happens family-wise we'll get a call to the house. There's no reason for my cell to be on while I'm asleep.

I don't have a cellphone so no, I don't have to have it near. We do have a cordless housephone and I can't stand to have it anywhere near me when I'm sleeping...in fact, there's been a lot of times that I've been woken up b/c of the phone ringing. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~**STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Yes. I am also like you.I will keep my mobile by the side as I used to set the alarm in that. But I will not get up on hearing the alarm tone and will just switch off it and will continue to sleep.This is the happening of everyday in my case.Also I will not attend the calls if I get during my sleep.But I will just note the number of the caller and then call him back in the morning.I will attend the calls only if I expect some important calls from some one during night hours. Even if I am not in sleep, mostly I will not attend the calls during night hours as this will disturb the others in my home who are sleeping.

im am using my cell phone as a alarm clock,s o i try to keep it within arms distance. however, even if i wasnt using my cell phone, i wouldnt mindif the cell phone was across the room from me. im not so attached to my cell phone as some people are

Like you,I always keep my cellphone near me.Every night,lying in bed,I always read news,chech my Gmail and my Xiaonei account(a social networking website in China,like facebook in US) using my cellphone.It has bacame my habit.And cellphone is also my alarm clock.I keep it near me to make sure that it can wake me up tomorrow.
